Admissions to Foundation Stage (Reception)
In the few months before they begin school, parents are invited to meet the Headteacher and the Foundation Stage staff. Every effort is made to have children in school for an informal session before they officially start.
Children are admitted full time in September unless parents feel that their child is not ready for this. By law, children must start at the commencement of the term following that in which they have their fifth birthday.
We will be holding an Open Morning on Wednesday 24th November. If you would like to attend, please email our school office with your name, telephone number and email address and we will contact you to make an appointment.
Places are allocated using criteria, which include residence in the school's catchment area, distance from school and whether or not the child already has a sibling attending the school.
The deadline for Reception Admission September 2022- August 2023 for children born between 1 September 2017 and 31 August 2018 is 15th January 2022.
Children attending an infant school and born between 1 September 2014 and 31 August 2015 will move up to junior school in September 2022. The deadline to submit your application is 14th January 2022.
