Welcome to Year 1!

A very warm welcome to Year 1! We are so excited that you will be joining us for a fantastic year of learning, discovery, and fun.

In Bumblebees, your teacher will be Mrs Nunn, and in Spiders, your teacher will be Mrs Sharma.

Our lovely Learning Support Assistants are Mrs Wicks, Mrs Finan and Miss Ali, who will be there to help, encourage and support you throughout the year.

Year 1 is a very exciting place to be! Together, we will go on wonderful learning adventures, explore new ideas, develop new skills, and make lots of happy memories. We will read exciting stories, solve problems, get creative, investigate the world around us, and have plenty of opportunities to learn through fun and engaging activities.

As you move into Year 1, you will become more independent, build your confidence, and discover just how much more you can achieve. We know that every child is special, and we can't wait to see your talents, hear your ideas, and celebrate your successes throughout the year.

Most importantly, we want you to enjoy your learning, be kind to one another, try your very best, and have lots of fun along the way.

We are looking forward to meeting you, seeing your smiling faces, and starting this exciting journey together.
