Staying Safe in a Changing World
We help children stay safe in school, online, and in the wider world.
💻 Online Safety
We teach children how to use technology responsibly and safely. Through e-safety lessons in our computing curriculum, pupils learn how to:
- Stay safe online
- Spot risks and make smart choices
- Ask for help when something doesn’t feel right
We create an open environment where children feel confident to ask questions and talk about their online experiences.
🚶♀️ Road Safety & Sustainable Travel
Each year, children take part in Walk to School Week, learning about:
- Reducing pollution and traffic
- Choosing healthier, greener ways to travel
We also teach road safety through:
- Bikeability training for safe cycling
- Lessons on being a safe pedestrian
🚒 Real-Life Safety Learning
We bring safety to life through hands-on experiences:
- Visits from firefighters, police, and road safety teams
- Talks on topics like fire prevention and keeping safe
🧡 Speak Out, Stay Safe
We work with the NSPCC to help children understand:
- What abuse is and how to recognise it
- That abuse is never their fault
- Where to go for help
We believe that teaching children how to stay safe, online, on the roads, and in life is one of the most important things we do.
