Building Character & Confidence
At The Stoke Poges School, we help children grow into confident, resilient and responsible individuals.
Here’s how we support their personal development:
🌟 Our Values
Each month, we focus on a key school value, introduced in an assembly, discussed in class and celebrated across the school.
💬 Learning to Reflect
Children learn to think about their actions and choices and our calm, supportive Reflection Room.
🧠 The Character passport
Every child receives a Character Passport as part of our Personal Development pledge. These passports track and celebrate pupils’ achievements beyond the classroom, focusing on building resilience, kindness, curiosity, and independence. Each year, children collect stamps for completing a range of Marvellous Experiences, which are carefully planned to enrich their learning and support their growth. Passports follow pupils throughout their time at school and are presented to them when they leave, showcasing their journey and development. This initiative helps embed our school values and encourages children to take pride in their personal progress.
