Food and Drink in School

If children eat better, they feel better, play better and work better.

Universal Infant Free School Meals

Since September 2014, all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 state-funded schools in England have received free school meals. The aim is to improve academic attainment and save families money.

We offer hot meals to Reception & Key Stage 1 which are provided by Dolce and ordered through their online School Grid service. They are a family based business with a genuine interest in providing a good, honest and reliable service.

Dolce ensure that each school dinner has a fresh, home-made taste. Their menus deliver diversity and great nutrition. Vegetables are fresh and full of vitamins, and their meat is carefully selected to ensure high quality.

Please look at their website for the standards that they set and meet when providing a wholesome, balanced and well procured meal for schools: Dolce.co.uk

Key Stage 2 can also purchase hot lunches via the Live Kitchen website  - click here to login.

Please remember to cancel your child's lunch if they are going to be absent from school for any reason. All school lunches ordered and not cancelled by 09.30am will be charged.  If you have any problems using the Live Kitchen website, please contact the school office.
