PTA

The Stoke Poges School PTA is an active group of parent/carer volunteers and teachers who work together to put on events for the school & local community throughout the year, to fundraise for the school.

From Food Festivals to fireworks nights, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day sales and even a circus, the team work hard to organise events that can be enjoyed by pupils and parents alike, and that will raise vital funds to enhance our children's time at the school. We all work towards one common aim - to provide the best facilities, equipment and environment possible for our children while they are at The Stoke Poges School.

Help, donations and services are always gratefully received. We know people may not have the time to attend meetings or all events, but help with planning, sourcing donations and equipment, or even a half hour wrapping up gifts for one of our popular sales, is always greatly appreciated.

Last year the PTA raised almost £8,000 for the school. In recent years we have been able to donate more than £10,000 towards an all-weather play surface, invest in essential computing and maths equipment, and contribute more than £15,000 towards a brand new STEAM Cabin. Due to the current funding crisis in education, financial support for our school is more important than ever and we are keen to get to work on planning exciting and inclusive events for all parents and pupils. New faces and ideas are always warmly welcomed.

This year we are fundraising for a new school library as well as a minibus to be used for school trips, and we have a target of £10,000 to fund these projects.
