Leaders of Tomorrow

At The Stoke Poges School we encourage all pupils to be a part of our school community and have a Pupil Voice.  We also support them to develop the values and skills necessary to become successful leaders of tomorrow.

Pupil Voice refers to ways of listening to the views of pupils and involving them in decision-making. We want to engage our children as active participants in their education and in making a positive contribution to their school and local community.  We believe that engaging with our children in this way and encouraging them to have a say, contributes to their achievement and attainment. It increases their confidence, self-respect, competence and gives them an improved sense of responsibility, motivation and engagement in learning.

We encourage our children to take on leadership roles throughout school by providing them with opportunities in class and roles such as Prefect, Team Captain, buddy and School Councillor.
