We are so excited about you moving into Cherry and Willow as we embark on this new learning journey together.

In Year 5 we have lots of fun whilst we learn and have some fascinating topics to explore. Prepare for exciting experiences as we delve into the fascinating worlds of the Anglo-Saxons and the Victorians, taking a captivating journey through time. Brace yourselves for mind-blowing moments as we explore the extreme nature of our Earth and the vastness of space, sharing marvellous mysteries along the way! 

We will learn all about the Victorians and what it was like to live during the reign of a strong female monarch. In Science, we will take a journey beyond the globe into space, studying the moon, plants and different orbits around the sun. Engaging geography lessons will investigate what it would be like to live in different climates. You will have the opportunity to create and bake bread in design and technology lessons. We have many more exciting learning opportunities coming your way too!

Mrs Thamu (Mon - Fri) will be your Willow teacher and Miss Kennedy (Mon-Thurs) and Mrs Glover will be teaching Cherry.
